Key Challenges

Spooner wanted to build a mobile cross-platform application that would enable diners across the globe to use keywords on their mobile devices to search for restaurants based on a wide variety of information like food name, food type, specials, location, themes and much more. Spooner project involved massive volume of data based on the huge number of diverse restaurants in all major cities as well as distinct keyword-driven data types to make it easy for diners to find exactly what they wanted. This whole system also required to include an inbuilt reservation system, social media connections and a navigation utility for mobile users to reach their destinations. The important thing was that the Android and iOS applications were not just destined for the local area but ultimately envisioned and designed as working prototypes for an international audience that could be implemented for all major urban areas in the world.
